Job Title: Business Telesales Representative
Department Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager
Location: Clonshaugh Industrial Estate, Dublin 17

 

Key Purpose of the Role:

To sell Magnet Business Voice and Broadband services via incoming and outgoing telephone / e-mail communication.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Pro-active sourcing of new revenue for the business by making outbound calls to the existing customer base to up sell Magnet Services
  • Appointment setting for field sales teams from existing customer base where opportunity exceeds that which can be dealt with over the phone
  • Being part of the telesales team taking inbound sales enquiry telephone calls
  • Support marketing campaigns by telephone follow up
  • Responding to e-mail enquires that are made from potential customers.
  • Participate in marketing events to promote Magnet Business and source new clients
  • Actively contribute to the development of our team culture
  • Reporting potential pipeline to Team Leader / Sales Manager on a weekly basis
  • Attendance of regular team meetings
  • To carry out all tasks within Company policies and procedures which are updated from time to time
  • To continually represent the Company with honesty, integrity, and good presentation

Person Specification:

Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies)

 

Experience

  • Proven track record of Business to Business sales
  • Minimum of 2 yrs telesales experience in a telecoms environment
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Good knowledge of Broadband and the competitive market
  • Experience of working within a telesales environment
  • Previous experience within telecommunications

Skills

  • Team player – working in co-operation with colleagues and local management teams
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Confident / Self starter
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to engage with different Businesses across a variety of sectors
  • Confident in ability to generate a sales pipeline with 2 months of commencement of role.
  • PC Literate
